Project P.I.T.T. Later Products
Ducks will not be enough — registers, piñatas, and stranger payloads that rewrite your funnels.
Rubber ducks are the intern orientation product. The full Project P.I.T.T. release is about what happens when The Maw gets bored of yellow plastic. This page covers later payloads confirmed in developer notes, Steam achievements, and launch-week play: cash registers with a dedicated workbench, piñatas that turn one object into many, anomalies as a rare unlock, plus the slick and cushion panels built to move those messes. Read Rubber Ducks and Products first if you have not finished phase one. Use Boxes and Containers whenever you still pack bulk instead of changing species.
Steam achievements make the roster official even when store copy stays poetic. KACHING is Unlock Cash Register. FIESTA is Unlock Pinata. WEIRD is Unlock Anomaly. Those three names are your product roadmap. Assembly — objects connecting in unexpected ways — is the store’s late-game sentence. Do not wait for a traditional crafting tree. Workbenches appear, recipes change, and your duck fan corridor becomes a liar.
Cash registers
Developer 0.2.8 notes said cash registers with their own workbench were implemented for the full game and withheld from the demo. Launch-week players talk about automating registers alongside ducks, then watching Phase 3 space changes wreck both paths (that scripted wrecking is now patched — Launch Notes). Registers are heavier and slower to craft than ducks. A fan tuned for rubber will either do nothing useful or launch a register into a camera. Give them a wider staging pad, gentler pistons, and Sticky panels that actually meet the floor.
Treat registers as combo fuel once craft speed is upgraded, not as the first thing you throw by hand from across the room. If you break a register in a side hole or chute during exploration, that is a physics accident, not a required puzzle — Steam threads already contain that confusion. Craft another. Keep one register line and one duck line until combo uptime recovers.
Piñatas
Piñatas unlock a party and a performance bill. Steam Deck HQ described later sessions with exploding piñatas in the same breath as hundreds of ducks and registers. Each burst is extra rigid bodies. If your combo lane runs through the blast, you will spend the next minute sweeping. Isolate FIESTA production behind cushion panels (soft landing pads from the full-game toolset) or a closed panel box that dumps into The Maw as a unit. Do not farm MESS and MEGA on the same floor without a wall.
Piñatas are also why “more fans” stops being a strategy. Fans multiply chaos when shrapnel exists. Magnets and slick panels (conveyor-like surfaces) give you a direction without a wind tunnel. Physics Tools and Automation Builds are the rebuild manuals.
Anomalies and assembly
WEIRD sits at a few percent of players a day after launch. That is a discovery unlock, not a shop item you see at dollar one. Follow Unlock Progression: feed The Maw, poke interactions, read graffiti, light dark wings by unlocking machines. When assembly starts — products that connect — your mental model should shift from “ball into hole” to “kit into hole.” Connected objects have new collision boxes. Test one assembly over The Maw before you clone a dozen.
If you find a chute with a percentage that does not rise when you stuff ducks into it, you are probably looking at a gated full-game structure, not a broken duck counter. Community posts from the demo era already described scales, fuse boxes, and chutes that were not phase-one content. In the paid game those toys are in scope. Experiment, then check Tips and Secrets for height, lights, and flying-with-objects.
How later products change spend order
Early S-tier sticky panels stay S-tier. What drops is “buy 60 duck fans.” Later products want:
- Sticky reliability before quantity
- Slick surfaces for mass
- Cushions for explosives
- Remotes so you can kill a dangerous bank of tools without walking into shrapnel
- Combo time upgrades so mixed-product dumps still chain
Re-rank with the Early Upgrades Tier List only for brand-new saves. Mid-run, use the Tools Tier List after each product unlock. How to Automate still starts with a short path; the path’s width and landing just grow.
Demo leftovers versus full roster
The demo can tease a cash register in a hole you should not smash, or a chute percentage that ignores ducks. That was a content fence. After August 19, 2026 those fences are the job. Keep the demo installed if you want a clean duck classroom; do not expect it to teach FIESTA. The Items Hub will stay the map: ducks, boxes, then this later-products page as the third pillar.
Feed what The Maw wants this phase. When the product changes, the funnel is homework again.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers about the full game, The Maw, and day-one patches.
When do cash registers unlock?
In the full game after phase one. KACHING tracks the unlock. They use a dedicated workbench and need heavier handling than ducks.
Why did my factory die when piñatas appeared?
Piñatas add explosive debris. Isolate them with cushion panels or a closed dump. Fan corridors built for ducks will scatter the party into your combo lane.
What is an Anomaly?
A rare later unlock tracked by WEIRD. It is discovery-gated. Feed The Maw, explore, and follow new workbenches instead of waiting for a store bullet list.
Are later products in the demo?
No. Demo 0.2.8 notes said registers, slick panels, and cushion panels were full-game. Play the paid four-phase release for this roster.
